As a part of my research I needed to take a look at some examples of structures around the world that facilitate and promote peoples culture. I looked at buildings such as the Royal Ontario Museum, the Arc de Triomphe, Cloud gate and a few more. The most interesting thing about this research was not only the fact it gave me an insight into existing cultural buildings but the fact that I found out it doesn't have to be a building. A monument is also an example of a structure that facilitates culture and so finding that out was pretty vital, especially if designing a building doesn't work out as planned.
