FMP | Week 7 | Day 3

Today was reserved for creating all of the illustration files ready for the laser cutter. It was a huge workload because I had to measure every little element of what I was doing. These are all of the things I had created though not all of them are going to be cut.

This is the front of the building and three of the sides.

This is the remainder of the walls plus the curved wall which was designed to be cut multiple times and then stacked on top of each other.

This was my first proposal for a roof but I decided to change it so it would work with the curve of the arc.

This is the new design for the rood which has a different front. I have changed the front of the building from one long panel to three smaller ones that allow the arc to curve into it.

These are my pillars which I have measure to the maximum height of the arc and I will cut them accordingly.

This panel is the first floor

I found this process pretty challenging because I'm not too familiar with Adobe Illustrator. Still, however, I managed to use the shape tool and the ability to choose the measurements of the shape to my advantage. I wish I could have made it in Adobe Photoshop but it came out alright and I got to practice the software a little more.
